Last year I photographed Jess & Dong’s pre-wedding session before their wedding ceremony in China. This year I got to photograph their 100-day old baby Ada!!
They invited me to their beautiful home in North Vancouver. Ada was a very curious one - she started staring at me the minute I stepped into their home :D Then she just watched me setting up my camera, getting ready for her photoshoot…she hasn’t learned to roll over yet, so she just kept bobbing her little head around wherever I go - it was so adorable!!

Unlike her mom, Ada wasn’t a huge fun of smiling at the camera. She always smiled to me, but as soon as I picked up my camera, her smile would turn into a little frown :P However, she did not cry a single time during the one hour I was there! We managed to get a few shots of Ada smiling towards Jess. :)
I would love to photograph Ada again every couple of years to document her growth with my pictures. It’s always a magical experience when my wedding couples ask me to capture their babies a few years after, or when my portrait couples get married after several years later…it’s like seeing my own kids grow up! (except I’m younger than most of my couples :P)
